Thats what I told my wife as we were sitting in bay 8 enjoying ribs and talking to the shop owner while our kids played in the bounce house. I don’t play sports, this type of thing is my jam. Got to meet some great people, learn that the Tundra/Tacoma club of Utah really likes light bars and halo lights (eyeroll) and help someone out in need. I like these car folk.

This would be the third off road vehicle related bbq me and my daughter have been to this year.

I will take the car community over the softball community any day. Less owi’s, less high school attitudes, and people bring their children to enjoy it with them instead of tossing them on the playground next door.

Now that you mention it, I rarely hear of BHLM or angel eyes on a Cruiser. I have yet to meet up with any folks in Co, but they seem like a friendly group. Out of curiosity, what’s the average age at one of your meets?

About what I guessed. When I had the RX8, meets with that group, age was 20s, Miata, 60+, Cougar, 60+. I’m either old or young. Judging from what I’ve seen, I’m guessing the Tundra/Taco group here is the same late 20s-30s, with a sprinkling of folks my age.
